Stages of Father Inclusion

Discover What Stage of Father Inclusion You’re In

Including fathers in your programs and services leads to stronger families, healthier communities, and better outcomes for children.

We've identified four stages of father inclusion that apply to organizations serving families:

AWARE Stage:

Raise staff's awareness about the importance of father inclusion before building the capacity to be father inclusive.

PREPARE Stage:

The staff recognizes the importance of father inclusion and is prepared to build capacity before launching a father-inclusive effort.

LAUNCH Stage:

The staff has built capacity and identified a father-inclusive effort, but has not yet moved forward with launching it

MAINTAIN & GROW Stage:

The staff has successfully launched a father-inclusive effort and is committed to maintaining it while continuing to grow and expand its impact.

We can help you find out which stage best reflects where you are in!
